Our Tycoon Enterprise team were selected by a panel of judges, including Peter Jones OBE, to attend the prestigious Tycoon Awards at Hampton Court Palace! Their journey began back in September 2022, with the aspiration to create a business that would tackle a variety of community issues. After extensive research and consultations with community stakeholders, they decided to embark on a business concept to raise much needed funds for a local charity who provide an instrumental service to our wider community. Although supporting Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare was a key area, the approach taken was two fold. Not only did Charity Tree sell donated stock on behalf of Lindsey Lodge, the items were able to be sold online at a fraction of the cost that would be associated within a charity shop. This opened up the opportunity for the local and wider community to access a range of products, whilst also living within their budgets due to cost of living crisis and other personal circumstances, while still raising money for Lindsey Lodge Hospice. Fast forward to today, and our very own Tycoon team have been awarded the ‘Tycoon Innovative Business Award’. #PJFAwards2023
